Let's assume for a minute that you are the founder and owner of a very prestigious company and you are looking for recruits. Will you hire a student with a very good academic score? Sure, why not!

Now think again. Will you hire a student with ONLY a very good academic score and lacking expertise in soft-skills such as effective communication, complex problem solving, judgment & decision making? We won't be wrong in assuming that this time the answer is No!

Today, we are at the beginning of a Fourth Industrial Revolution where it is incumbent upon graduates to have mastery on their technical skills along with people-skills & numerous other soft-skills. Moreover, they will be competing with Artificial Intelligence driven by Machine Learning, and Robots that are replacing people with monotonous occupations that don't require much of these skills.

Hence, Saffrony Institute of Technology introduced a two-hour weekly session named "Sharpen Your Skills" which will train Saffronites in skills cited by the Global Challenge Insight Report, 2016 titled: The Future of Jobs - by World Economic Forum.

Here are the glimpses  of the sessions conducted under SYS by industry experts, faculty members and even the students of Saffrony Institute of Technology
